The air was thick with heat as the sun beat down its rays. A woman sat patiently on a bench while waiting for a train. Despite the humidity her long grey hair was still frizzy and there wasn’t a single bead of sweat to be seen. The pink floral shirt she wore contrasted the brick wall the bench sat in front of. Her long gracious fingers gripped a battered novel which rested on her lap. The only word visible on the cover was murder. Her fingers were wrapped in silver rings, some with little gem stones, and another with an elephant. On her petite nose sat rounded tortoise shell glasses that magnified her ash blue eyes, which moved quickly across the pages. The floral shirt was loosely tucked into light blue jeans with a thin light brown belt. Her feet were enclosed with brown sandals allowing her red toes to feel the sun.
